These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") outline the agreement between you ("you" or "your") and Bishops Stortford Airport Minicab Express ("we", "us", or "our") regarding the provision of airport transfer services. By booking a minicab with us, you agree to abide by these Terms.

1. Definitions

• Bishops Stortford Airport Minicab Express (us/we): The company offering airport transfer services via minicabs.

• You/Your: Any individual, business, or entity making a booking with us.

2. Booking

2.1 Journey Time:
It is your responsibility to allocate sufficient travel time, particularly for airport transfers with strict check-in deadlines. Bishops Stortford Airport Minicab Express is not liable for delays caused by inadequate time allocation or your unpreparedness at pickup.

2.2 Vehicle Size:
Select a vehicle that accommodates all passengers and luggage comfortably. We cannot guarantee the transport of excessive luggage. Each child, regardless of age, is counted as one passenger.

2.3 Wheelchair Access:
Please inform us of any wheelchair access requirements at the time of booking.

3. Prices & Payment

3.1 Quotes:
We provide quotes based on the details you provide. Prices exclude VAT unless specified. We reserve the right to adjust the quote if there are significant changes to the itinerary.

3.2 Waiting Time:
Our quotes include a 45-minute waiting period at the airport and parking charges. Any additional waiting will incur extra charges based on our standard fees. While we strive to accommodate flight delays, we are not obligated to do so.

3.3 Booking Confirmation:
After accepting a quote, you will receive a confirmation. Please verify its accuracy. Failure to notify us of any discrepancies may result in delays or additional charges.

3.4 Payment:
We accept payments via cash, credit cards, or debit cards.

4. The Service

4.1 Passenger Behavior:
You are responsible for the behavior of all passengers in the vehicle. We reserve the right to charge cleaning fees for any soiling or damage caused by passengers.

4.2 Prohibited Activities:
Eating, drinking, and smoking are not permitted in the vehicle.

4.3 Child Restraints:
All children must be secured in the appropriate child restraints for their age, weight, and height.

4.4 Passenger Limits:
We are bound by licensing and insurance regulations and cannot exceed the maximum passenger capacity of the vehicle.

5. Cancellations

5.1 Cancellation Notice:
To cancel a booking, please contact us immediately. Cancellations after dispatch will incur a charge based on the distance and travel time the driver has already incurred.

5.2 Online Booking Cancellations:
Cancellations made via our online booking system before vehicle dispatch may still incur a charge on the original payment method.

6. Liability

6.1 Delays Beyond Control:
While we aim for punctual arrivals, Bishops Stortford Airport Minicab Express is not liable for any losses resulting from delays beyond our control.

6.2 Luggage:
Luggage is carried at your own risk.

6.3 Vehicle Breakdown:
In the event of a vehicle breakdown, we will make reasonable efforts to arrange an alternative vehicle to complete your journey.

6.4 Indemnification:
You agree to indemnify Bishops Stortford Airport Minicab Express from any costs, damages, or losses arising from your actions or omissions.

6.5 Exclusions:
Liability for personal injury, death, or fraud cannot be excluded, except where such exclusions are unlawful under applicable laws.

7. Termination

7.1 Right to Terminate:
We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking if a passenger’s behavior poses a risk to the vehicle or driver. No refunds will be provided for journeys terminated under these circumstances.

8. Miscellaneous

8.1 Subcontracting:
We may subcontract our obligations under these Terms. You may not transfer any of your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent.

8.2 Changes to Terms:
We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on this page. Please review them regularly. Any existing bookings will be subject to the rates applicable at the time of booking.

8.3 Data Protection:
We process your personal data in compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and other applicable data protection regulations.

8.4 Entire Agreement:
This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between Bishops Stortford Airport Minicab Express and you.

8.5 Third-Party Rights:
These Terms do not confer any benefits on third parties, and no third party may enforce any provision of these Terms unless expressly agreed upon in writing.

9. Disputes

Any dispute or claim arising from or related to these Terms or the services provided must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the booking pickup date. We are not obligated to consider disputes made after this period.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
